Farming was never far from Grandpa and Grandma’s sensibilities.
I guessed that Grandpa was in the first photo, possibly evaluating grapes and their vines.
Take a look at the woman’s hat, though, and then compare it to the one in the second photo, where the woman is definitely Grandma. That’s how one detail can illuminate another photo.
I have no idea who they’re visiting, but Dad’s now in uniform. The time scope is World War II.
